Trauma & relationship recovery
Online EMDR and trauma therapy in South Carolina
For people who have done the talking and still feel stuck, and for anyone trying to make sense of a relationship that leaves them doubting themselves.
When talk therapy hasn't been enough
Many of my clients have spent years in therapy. They understand their history. But understanding isn't the same as healing. Trauma is stored in the body and in memory networks that keep firing as if the danger is still here.
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) works with those memories directly, including the body sensations attached to them. Clients who felt stuck for years often notice change in a way talk alone didn't give them.
How EMDR works online
Building safety first
We start by building resources you can use anytime: a container for distressing material and a calm place to return to. We don't touch hard memories until you feel steady.
What a session feels like
You hold a memory in mind while following bilateral stimulation, such as eye movements on screen or tapping. Your brain does the reprocessing. Many people describe the memory feeling further away, less charged, or simply finished.

Healing from toxic and abusive relationships
Toxic or abusive? Follow power and control.
Every relationship has conflict. Abuse is different: one person uses power and control to keep the other off balance. If you constantly second-guess your memory, walk on eggshells, or feel like the "crazy one," we can look at the pattern together, clearly and without rushing you toward any decision.
Covert narcissism and attachment wounds
Narcissism exists on a spectrum, and the quiet version is often the hardest to name: stonewalling, plausible deniability, and "you're too sensitive." I also help clients understand avoidant, disorganized, and fearful-avoidant attachment patterns, and when those patterns cross into abuse. My work draws on Leslie Vernick, Natalie Hoffman, and Dr. Ramani Durvasula.
Church hurt and misused teaching
Some of the deepest wounds come from places that were supposed to be safe. I help people untangle harm caused by patriarchal and hierarchical misreadings of scripture, harm that often goes unseen in churches and pastoral counseling.
If you're in danger right now, call 911 or the National Domestic Violence Hotline at 1-800-799-7233.
Investment and next steps
Your first session (intake) is $125. Follow-up sessions, including EMDR, are $100. I also have limited openings for clients using Aetna, Cigna, and some South Carolina Medicaid plans. See rates, insurance, and payment options.
