Anxiety, depression, or something underneath?

Late-identified ADHD and autism in women

Diagnostic criteria were built mostly around boys, so many women grow up missed. They get treated for anxiety or depression for years without anyone asking what sits underneath. If you feel things intensely, script your conversations, or crash after social events, it may be worth exploring.

Together we look at your history and ask whether undiagnosed neurodivergence played a role all along. When a formal evaluation would help, I'll refer you to a trusted evaluator and support you through whatever you learn.

You might relate if you

  • Hold it together at work and fall apart at home

  • Feel emotions so deeply they knock you sideways

  • Were called "too sensitive" or "too much" growing up

  • Have tried therapy for anxiety that never quite fit

Unmasking and living more authentically

High-masking people spend enormous energy appearing "fine." We work on dropping the masks that cost you the most, at a pace that feels safe.

Routines that fit your brain

I'm good at helping clients build schedules and structure that actually stick, because they're designed around how you work, not how you're told you should.

Support for kids ages 2 and up

Trauma or neurodevelopmental difference?

Trauma and ADHD can look almost identical: trouble focusing, big reactions, meltdowns, and trouble sleeping. With 15 years in child welfare and foster care, I know how to look carefully at the whole picture before deciding what helps.

My parent psychoeducation program

Parents are the most powerful part of a child's treatment. I walk you through my own multi-session program with practical tools for behavior, school, and friendships, so the progress keeps going at home.

I usually meet with parents first, without your child, so you can speak freely. Then I meet your child.

Investment and next steps

Your first session (intake) is $125. Follow-up sessions, including parent sessions, are $100. I also have limited openings for clients using Aetna, Cigna, and some South Carolina Medicaid plans. See rates, insurance, and payment options.

Some intense reactions come from unresolved trauma instead. Learn about EMDR for trauma.
